Not your average delivery driver. CEO and cannabis entrepreneur Josh Bleem personally delivers CBD orders to Northern Colorado Residents.
FORT COLLINS, CO – Josh Bleem, CEO and owner of CannaCo CBD and Cannagea CBD, is personally ensuring that his customers in Northern Colorado have easy access to the products his two CBD companies sell. Bleem has taken on a role that most CEOs like himself are unfamiliar with: delivery driver.
“Since the launch of our same-day delivery service, we have seen an enormously positive response from the community,” says Bleem. “Oftentimes the people who need CBD products the most have underlying medical conditions that put them at risk to COVID-19,” says Bleem.
Bleem and his team have decided to not accept gratuities. Bleem has instead asked that customers make a donation to the Food Bank of Larimer County. “We want to minimize contact with customers and cash as much as possible, and we want to help organizations who are supporting local residents in this challenging time,” says Bleem.
Each day Bleem starts his day like most CEOs, responding to emails and communicating with his team members located throughout Colorado. Then at 12:30 pm, armed with a bottle of Canna-Vitae CBD Hand Sanitizer, mask and gloves, he sets out to deliver the first round of orders. A quick 30-minute break and Bleem is back on the road at 5 pm doing one last round of deliveries. Store Manager of Cannagea CBD, John Vail, has joined him in helping to make the same-day service possible by delivering orders as well.
When asked if he feels this at all below him as CEO, Bleem responds, “The role of delivery driver needed to be filled immediately for us to provide this service to the Northern Colorado community.” Bleem goes on to say, “We have never offered a service like this before, there was no established protocol for us to offer delivery of our products. I have to give a lot of credit to my team for their hard work for making this service available on such short notice.”
The free same-day delivery service was launched for Fort Collins on April 6th and since has made multiple deliveries to Fort Collin’s residents. On April 8th the delivery service was further expanded to include the nearby cities and towns of Loveland, Laporte, Timnath, and Windsor.
Bleem’s dispensaries and CBD stores employ around 30 people throughout the state of Colorado. “We have implemented additional sanitization and safety procedures across the board,” says Bleem. “The safety of my staff and customers is currently my number one priority. We have asked all of our non-essential staff to work from home during this time,” says Bleem. “My team and I are monitoring the outbreak and have been in direct contact with the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment and the Larimer County Health Department to ensure we remain 100% compliant with current regulations,” Bleem concludes.
